I'm a solo female traveler. Is this safe?
Absolutely. We prioritize matching solo female travelers with our SLTDA "Safe & Secure" certified drivers who have spotless records. You get all their details before you arrive, and we stay in touch throughout your trip. GPS tracking is available if you want it.
What about fuel price increases or toll charges?
It doesn't affect you. Your price is locked in, regardless of what happens with fuel or tolls after you book.
Can I change my itinerary after booking?
Yes. Just let your driver or us know. We're flexible. If it's a significant change in distance, we'll mention it, but usually it's not an issue.
Where does the driver sleep? Is this ethical?
Your rate includes proper guesthouse accommodation for the driver. They're not sleeping in the car. We believe in treating people properly.
Will the driver be with us all the time?
No. They'll drop you at restaurants, wait nearby, and come back when you're ready. You get your privacy. They're there when you need them, not hovering.
What if the car breaks down in a remote area?
We'll get you a replacement vehicle within 3 to 4 hours, no matter where you are. In 15 years, we've never left anyone stranded.
Do I pay upfront??
No advance payment is required. You'll pay 50% in cash when you arrive in Sri Lanka, with the remaining 50% due at the end of your tour. For added flexibility, you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival.
Should I tip?
Only if you want to. It's appreciated but never expected. Some people buy their driver lunch as a thank you. That's nice too, but totally optional.
